Multi-touch Gestures
Multi-touch gestures include pan, zoom, click, double click, right click, drag, scroll and an option to access the hidden Mac Dock or Windows taskbar.
Extended Keyboard Layout
Remotix extended keyboard includes the most important Mac keys missing on iOS like Ctrl, Option, Command, copy/paste, and function keys (F1 through F10). You’ll also find a set of arrow keys to scroll here.
Optional Server-Side Scaling
On a small screen it makes sense to enable Server-side scaling to increase connection speed. Remotix will reduce the amount of transmitted data with no significant influence on image quality.
Granular Picture Quality Settings
For Mac connections you can choose between five quality levels based on your needs, internet connection method and speed. The "Adaptive" option is perfect for slow connections.
Security
Remotix supports SSH tunneling with both password and public key authentication methods. For VNC servers there are three methods: VNC password, Mac OS X authentication and Microsoft Windows authentication.
Through Clipboard Mode
When this option is active you don’t need to switch the keyboard layout on your server. The "Through Clipboard Mode" allows you to type any special characters from keyboard layouts installed on your device.
International Keyboard Support
Remotix supports English (US), English (Great Britain), English (IE), French, French Swiss, French Canadian, Belgian, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Norwegian, Russian and Swedish.
Modifier keys
Modifier keys (⌃, ⌥, ⌘) will stay pressed until you press them again. The "Right click mode" button will imitate right mouse click once after being pressed.
